More specifically... is there a piece you feel like really sums up/showcases your storytelling/style?

I’m not sure about showcasing my storytelling or style but ‘Chrome and Leather’ is one of my favorite stories I’ve told so far. It’s been on hiatus for a little bit but I think it’s the best storytelling I’ve done to date.

Not a lot is left and it shouldn’t take me very long to finish, maybe a few hours to proofread (bc I am a slow reader) I’m doing a workshop tonight so chances are idk if it’ll actually be out tonight but definitely sometime tomorrow

I stayed up, ‘till 6 in the morning, because I was reading Game of Hearts. How could you do this to me, publishing such talent like that. It was so good I couldn’t stop. Literally everything about it is amazing. I’m really excited for it. Thank you dear author 🙇‍♀️.

Awwh I’m so happy you enjoyed it so much! I’ve definitely had fun writing it throughout the year and honestly, being able to post chapter 5 has me hyped to get chapter 6 out! Just seeing that subtle shift in Chishiya and MC’s relationship has me almost frothing out the mouth because my man may be an asshole but he still shows his care in his own way.

He gave a you shove but not before grabbing at the back of your top, yanking the tie undone as you let out a gasp, immediately grabbing the front that loosely hung as you heard several whistles and multiple cat calls from men in the crowd.

Your lip twitched as you trudged around the table, Chishiya didn’t even spare you a glance, but oddly enough his jacket was already in his hand holding it out to you, you stared at it for a long moment before grabbing it.

Zipping it up you sat down next to him, “You’re being awfully charitable tonight.”

“You need every ounce of it with how big of an idiot you���ve been acting.” Chishiya cut his eyes into you as if you somehow had been offending him this whole time.

Chappy 3 centaur time!! Post train crash Toma goes missing (hiding from Catnap, as the redsmoke probably outright kills smaller toys) for most of the chapter, and Player gets a leg injury! No more kicky for them :]

Lots of dream sequences are different, no Kissy Missy attack (though she still does surprise, shes just not trying to maul you this time). Probably Catnap tries to convince the Player to follow the Prototype at some point, idk

*cough* it’s been about a year so I can’t fault you for asking 😅 to be honest I’m not sure! It’s been so long that I’d definitely need to read what I’ve wrote so far before trying to continue. Season 2 is coming out next month so chances are I’ll probably get some inspo when I watch it!!

Leona was always able to hear you coming before he saw you. The anklet you always wore had this section of two pieces that clicked together with every step you took. He could almost call it hypnotic, the regular tempo of the clicks in time with your even steps toward him. Though he supposed that it was hypnotic even when they had no discernible rhythm. He had no problem letting the erratic clicks put him in a trance as they sounded right by his ear, audible only to him over the creaks of the bed
